Student Profile:

This programme is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of working with Eating Disorders and the basic skills required to work with such complex conditions. No prior knowledge is required

Study Method:

The course is designed for study by distance learning at work or at home.  Students receive course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support. There are no deadlines for assignments however you must complete the full course within 12 months from the date you received it.

Qualification

NCFE Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care.

Awarding Body Information

NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.

Assessments:

 

 

 

 

Assessment takes the form of a series of tutor marked assignments plus one extended essay, there is no word count for these assignments however you do have to prove to your tutor that you have fully understood the question asked.

Entry Requirements:

There are no entry requirements.

Timescale:

The programme takes place over a timescale to suit the student.  Once registered, tutor support is available for up to one year or until completion whichever is the soonest.

Location:

The programme is home or work-based enabling students to complete the course without having to attend scheduled college teaching sessions.
Tutor Support:

Throughout the course, students will receive tutor support by email and by post this will last for a full 12 months, to complete this course it will take in the region of 100 study hours which can be spread over the 12 month period.

Payment Method:

You can choose to pay in full at the time of ordering, or you can pay in monthly instalments (no discount applies).

If you would like to pay in instalments, we would need one of the instalments as a deposit with your order (either by cheque or by credit/debt card) we will take the rest of the instalments off the card for the remaining months.
